The City of Cayce will receive Sealed Bids for the Avenues Drainage Improvements Project, Phase II, Division ”B” – Naples Outfall, until 2:00 PM on January 16, 2025 at the City of Cayce, 1800 12th Street, Cayce, SC 29033, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM the above address. SCIIP Grant No. A-23-C030. Description: Replacement of storm drainage culvert crossings and associated demolition, earthwork, and roadway paving at Axtell Drive (S-32-56) and Naples Avenue (City of Cayce Riverwalk access driveway). The Axtell Drive culvert replacement includes demolition of two (2) existing storm drainage culverts and construction of a proposed 72” diameter culvert and cast-in-place concrete headwall. The Naples Avenue culvert replacement includes demolition of an existing storm drainage culvert and construction of a proposed 84” diameter culvert and two (2) cast-in-place concrete headwalls. The project also includes 500-LF of improvements to the drainage channel that is located between the Axtell and Naples culverts, and replacement/restoration of utilities within the project corridor.
