The City of Camden will receive Sealed Bids for the Water System Upgrades project until 2:00 PM on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at the City of Camden Town Hall basement training area at 1000 Lyttleton Street in City of Camden, SC, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday December 16, 2024 at the Town Hall at the above address. Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Water System Upgrades, including the installation of approximately 4,029 LF of 6-inch, 5,280 LF of 8-inch, and 8,289 LF of 12-inch PVC waterlines replacing various existing sizes of Asbestos Cement and Cast Iron lines, new valves, new fire hydrants, connections of new water services to existing water meters, connections to existing lines, and abandonment of replaced sections of lines, and appurtenances for a complete installation.
